Farm-raised, farm-working, red-meat-eating Americans should NOT have to worry about ticks like this. My little brother has Alpha-Gal. It started with throwing up 30 minutes after eating, every single day. ER trips. More throwing up. Two years later, we finally figured it out. He gets acupuncture in his ears now, but we have no idea how long it will last before the next treatment is needed.
