Not all of our Muslim neighbors are violent. Not at all. The vast majority of Muslims that we meet will not be violent. We can befriend them and love them. We can share the gospel with them and see the image of God in them, just as much in them as it is in us and our children. At the same time, we must be completely clear-eyed about the contradiction between the American way of life and the ideology of political Islam. We must do that. I think we are obligated to do that.

You guys can be mad at Sen Paul all day long, but he is not wrong that it will have to be the Iranian people that take charge and overthrow the regime. This will not be another nation building exercise by the US. I want them to do it! I have supported this effort. But the reality is the window is closing.

This isn't that complicated. Christ is King. This is true. People saying this (like @jakeshieldsajj) in blasphemous ways to assert their moral superiority while refusing to bow to Christ will suffer judgement if they do not repent. They should think twice before misusing the name of the one they will bow to one day.

BREAKING: I’m told by three law enforcement sources that the vehicle used in the attack at a Michigan synagogue today is registered to a naturalized U.S. citizen from Lebanon who lives in Dearborn, MI. I have a name, but am waiting for confirmation that name matches the badly burned corpse that was driving the vehicle. Can only confirm the vehicle registration right now. More as we get it.

The term "theological liberalism" is thrown around a lot. When push comes to shove though, it still boils down to Richard Niebuhr's summation of what theological liberalism truly is: "A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross" (Kingdom of God in America, 193). Liberal/progressive Christianity is more than that but it is no less than that, and it will always come down to it. Niebuhr's words 89 years ago are just as applicable in 1937 as they are today.
