Through #Americares partner @Tabletochki, Uri has now completed the main phase of his treatment. To support Uri, his family and others like them in their recovery, Americares has provided Tabletochki a grant to provide essential mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) as they navigate a childhood cancer diagnosis. These devastating fires impacted the LA area significantly, affecting over 35,000 acres and resulting in extensive damage to communities across the city. From the initial outbreak, emergency response teams and our network of partner clinics in the area demonstrated exceptional dedication, providing crucial assistance to survivors and facilitating the early stages of recovery. Their urgent action enabled aid to be effectively distributed. 🇺🇦 Today marks three years since the invasion of Ukraine, with devastating humanitarian impacts continuing to unfold. The numbers are staggering: 3.6 million internally displaced people and nearly 7 million refugees across Europe.
