@cbpolis @NIH You’re welcome. I should clarify, in studies I’m referencing above, the method was also SRA approved or had WHO PQ, like in your case. (Just to be clear no one could misinterpret my previous tweet to mean we were providing investigational drugs/devices, as that was not the case.)

@cbpolis @NIH Although not with NIH funding, I can’t think of any acceptability study we’ve characterized as a clinical trial, even when the study provides the method (usually also becasue it’s not yet registered in country). For NIH, I think the same is still true per case study 29.

@paimadhu For me, if you don’t feel this way at least some of the time, you’re not paying attention. It’s transformative scholars like you who give me hope that we can shift the bend back.

We can’t talk about healthy relationships as key to building healthy communities & societies without talking about sex, not just as a vector of infectious disease & unintended pregnancies, but also as a vector of love, intimacy, emotional connection, confidence, & mental health.

Sexual health is not just the absence of risky behaviors & prevention of sexually transmitted infections #STIs, but the presence of a full spectrum of amazing powerful lovemaking & regular experiences of fantastic sexual practices that are safe, healthy, satisfying, & fulfilling.
