The Supreme Court's decision in favor of racist gerrymandering is an attack on American democracy itself.
It is a betrayal of the Americans who fought and bled in the civil rights movement to establish basic rights for all people regardless of race.
When Democrats retake power, we must pass legislation to restore the basic right to vote for all Americans. And Americans must look seriously at plans to rein in a corrupt, out of control Supreme Court.
