It’s particularly brazen that Robyn Vining issued a statement opposing the $1.8 billion proposal (most of which was one-time) on grounds of “fiscal responsibility.” She claimed to be concerned that the bill would create a deficit in the next budget. This is the same woman who not only proposed approximately *$3 billion* in new special ed funding (every year) at 100%, but making that amount sum sufficient, making it a blank check to school districts that will be covered by state taxpayers no questions asked for the rest of time. She is a completely clueless partisan hack with no compass or principles, who will say and do anything if it fits the moment.
