Let’s do the math on AKAP. Congress gets P26B. If all 316 members get equally, they get P83M each. If sectoral reps aren’t included, representatives from congressional districts get almost P103M each. Senate gets P5B. If all 24 senators get AKAP funds equally, they get P208M each. How is AKAP distributed? How much do they give per constituent? How can we make sure ALL is handed out and not pocketed? Why are legislators distributing this and not the DSWD? Does this violate the constitution in anyway?

Vice President Sara Duterte is taking the OVP staff down with her! Earlier today, the House Committee on Good Governance Chair said that he requested the Department of Justice to issue a look-out bulletin vs. the 7 staff of the Office of the Vice President. After establishing that their testimonies are crucial, the committee issued a subpoena to compel the officials to testify following their repeated absences from prior hearings and POTENTIAL INVOLVEMENT in the irregularities. Is the Vice President preventing them from attending? Why? What do they have to hide? Up to what extent will their loyalty to the Vice President go? I don’t know what’s with those connected with the Dutertes! Imagine seven professionals with careers and families to think of, are they really willing to go in hiding just so they can avoid congressional inquiries? This means not seeing their families and risk of losing their jobs for absences. If you will notice, whenever the issues involve the Dutertes, the key person would rather go in hiding? The former Duterte Economic Manager Michael Yang, the former Duterte Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque and now… the seven OVP staff? One might wonder. If you ask me, the possible look-out bulletin is justified if not warranted given the track record of Duterte-allied individuals. Tomorrow, the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability will resume its investigation of the questionable expenditures of the offices under the Vice President Sara Duterte.
