I both agree and disagree. A patient scribe in and of itself could be a challenging business to defend. A patient scribe that captures the hearts and minds of clinicians, patients, and caregivers, and builds an action layer on top of the understanding layer, is what our healthcare system has been missing for decades. If early feedback, traction, and insights from our @MeetKinHealth users and recommending clinicians are a signal, 2026 is the year we see a step change in the way MANY Americans understand, engage with, and are empowered in their healthcare journeys. Patients forget too much because healthcare explains too little. Kin Health raised a $9M Seed round led by @Maveron, with @townhallvntrs and @flexcapital joining, as @DrParikhMBA, @AmitParikhMD, and Kyle Alwyn build an app that records medical visits, transcribes them, and translates clinical conversations into plain English. The next patient experience winners will not make care more complicated. They will help people remember, understand, and follow through.
