@sidney_sbm It’s law in Ghana for all small scale miners to sell their gold to the government. There’s nothing to be depressed about here. The law is the law

My cousin, who owns a small mining company and operates at a galamsey site, recently discovered a large deposit of gold. She was overjoyed by the find. However, the situation quickly took a troubling turn when the Ghanaian government moved to seize the raw gold, offering compensation in return. She refused the offer, unwilling to give up what she believes rightfully belongs to her. Now, the government is threatening to revoke her citizenship if she continues to resist. Now my cousin is depressed, is this fair the treatment she’s getting from the Ghanaian government…

A newly recruited member of the military earns about two to two and a half times the salary of a newly posted teacher with a diploma. Similarly, a military officer earns between three and four and a half times the salary of a newly recruited teacher with a first degree. While every profession has its own unique responsibilities and risks, such a wide disparity in pay often pushes teachers to seek employment within the Ghana Armed Forces because they feel underemployed and undervalued in their current roles. This situation highlights a significant structural challenge facing the country; one that requires bold and decisive leadership from the President to address.

@AmountGhana @citizenyao A degree teacher aa I am earns not more than 4k aa net after deductions. A recruit (WASSCE) holder earns more than a degree teacher, cadet earns about 2times more than us. A senior who left the teaching field to join the immigration confessed.

Joke aside, let’s be serious as a nation. If you campaign for NDC, does that automatically mean you must pass the service exams whether you actually passed or failed? That doesn’t make sense to me. Just because someone is a party boy or girl doesn’t mean they should automatically be picked. If you fail, you fail simple. Try again next year. And those saying “NDC failed me” if you truly passed, why would they fail you? Tweaa.

@Yaw_Democrat_1 @Elorm_Hood What was your actual score in BECE or WASSCE? We write more than 50 papers in the university and didn’t see the score for any of them, not even one. After uni we never saw the actual score for licensure exam for any institution. You are just being emotional
