Walz accused Trump of racism, and said that the only thing "hurting this state is Donald Trump himself." Walz also claimed that he would "tackle crime" in the state after the fraud case has come more to light in the state. Some employees in the Minnesota government, however, have placed the blame for the fraud on Tim Walz, and said that there were a number of warning signs that massive fraud was taking place in the state. During a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Trump said of the fraud linked to some in the Somali community of Minnesota, "But when I watch what is happening in Minnesota, the land of 1000 lakes, or however many lakes they have, they got a lot of lakes, but this beautiful place, and I see these people ripping it off. And now I'm understanding, and you're going to look at that, I hear they ripped off, Somalians, ripped off that state for billions of dollars, billions, every year billions of dollars.
