All collectives are cults. All cults are collectivist. Individualism is the antithesis of the cult. PS. I WONT ARGUE SEMANTICS. Manipulators, be warned.

@FurkanGozukara Hence the rush to build thousands of AI data centers...no matter the cost to citizens.
We didn't want "government" to do this.
So we call huge, transnational, publicly-traded and politically-powerful corporations "private," call our own property "public," and it's all OK.

@FurkanGozukara They themselves are slaves to their own greed and lust for more power and control.

@FurkanGozukara @tne014 The billionaires are the ones who need to be watched 24/7.
We need THEM on their best behavior, since they have the power to do the most damage.

Thomas Massie's opponent in the Kentucky 4th GOP primary ran a Biden 2020 campaign - from his basement.
No debates, no rallies, no interviews.
So how did he achieve an historic number of votes from the district?
People are talking...

Massie was the Constitutionalist in the room. He's the guy who pointed out the corruption hidden in the bills.
It should have been easy. Most of the surveillance state is pretty clearly violating the 4th Amendment. Members of both parties have been spied on in some fashion.
But Massie takes the blame? What option does he have? Hold his nose and vote "Yea" to more FISA because it's packaged with 'good' spending?
He's a bad congressperson because he can't persuade his cohorts to eliminate pending 'kill switches' in cars?
None of these sorts of arguments make any sense. Massie isn't the problem.

@MLiamMcCollum @LPNH @RonPaul I remember this debate. The way Rudy Giuĺiani laughed like a clown at these words of pure sanity have forever stuck with me. When he reappeared in the spotlight as the main spokesman for Trump after the stolen election 2020, I knew this guy was not to be trusted one bit.

@mrransomx @LPWV I won't say that it's all Trump's fault. If it were, then we wouldn't have shit like the PATRIOT Act still lingering. What Trump has done, though, is put it all out in the open due to his arrogance.

@LPWV Reagan once said libertarianism was the heart and soul of conservatism. Trump transformed the GOP into something centered more on loyalty and power than liberty and limited government. What’s left barely resembles the conservatism many people grew up believing in.

Let's try to remember that the GOP was a sinking ship before Trump showed up. That's why a 90s democrat ran as a Republican, because the party was so weak he had a better chance getting through the primaries running as a Republican than a Democrat.
Those who've been around long enough remember that both the Democrats and Republicans have created the mess we're in. Sure, the Republicans cleaned up their act over the last decade to get back into the game, but now that the Democrats have screwed their own pooch, the Republicans are free to chimp out, because when we call them on it, they can just point at the Democrats and ask, 'us or them?'.
Welcome to the two-party system kids.

@LPWV The ruse that Republicans are for limited government is finally dead.

What no one who sperged out over Massie not signing onto the OBBB will ever acknowledge is that despite Trump multiplying the ICE budget by 4x, we still did NOT get mass deportations. So all you did was create a larger budget for a wasteful government program that will cost you in purchasing power.
Ironblood🇺🇸@MagnusIronblood
@FrontOffice70 @KyleMatovcik @AFPMain Sure… maybe look at his record, starting with not supporting the border wall funding during trumps first term… his comments on how mass deportations would be too expensive. Voting against money for deportations

Because it takes time for massive debt spending, and the massive increases in Fed notes to finance that debt, to work its way through the economy and raise prices.
Trump could have fired Fauci and ordered the CDC to stop guiding the lockdowns. No lockdowns, no need for stimulus.
Instead, he let the lockdowns happen and pushed for the inflationary spending.
