•M. McGinnis: 6,604 votes (12.6%)
•E. Deters: 6,060 votes (11.5%)
•Total: roughly 52,593 votes across the three candidates
And last night, 2026 election, here is the breakdown:
•Massie: 45.6% (≈41,000–42,000 votes, estimated)
•Gallrein (the opponent): 54.4% (≈49,000–50,000 votes, estimated)
•Total: roughly 91,000 votes (estimated)
How does that happen, especially in off year election?

@GMRench I live in this district. I voted for Massey in 2024 and I did not vote for him in the primary. I’m tired of him. I haven’t liked him for a couple of cycles but didn’t have a better choice. This time I was just risking it and I’m willing to see what happens.

Good for him and his principles, said principles clearly doesn’t align with the majority of the republican party that put trump in office (this is proven by the fact he pretends to be aligned with trump on local ads in his district while calling his administration pedo protectors online), he does that because he knows who the majority of his district is aligned with.
