@monzo It’s been reported. It’s my husband’s personal account but also affected our joint account. No one is responding to me via chat, email and they won’t discuss on the phone as he can’t verify online as he has had his identity stolen. It’s very frustrating.

My colleagues are working with an adult patient who is requiring articulatory exercises for rehab. Does anyone have any resources for visual modelling for speech sounds at single sound phoneme levels? Thank you!!

@IsabellaRailton If the pt will allow, recording your sessions maybe helpful in improving insight and get past the masking with constrained activities.

@Amy_SLT82 Thank you Amy. It’s definitely a consideration and I’ll give it a trial. Long term goal is to return to work. He masks really well in social communication. Currently trying to improve how insight into tasks for him to self identify his own goals

@mssocietyuk I get nerve pain in my arms hands and legs. I’ve never taken meds, I find acupuncture really helps with long lasting pain relief or I just grit my teeth through it. Acupuncture is expensive!

Lots of people with MS experience pain at some time. It varies from person to person and over time, but drug treatments and other therapies can help. We’re creating new content on MS pain. 💭If you're comfortable sharing - what pain do you experience and how do you manage it?

Midwives & paramedics become band 6 after their preceptorship. How come this doesn't happen with nurses & AHP's? @theRCN @RishiSunak @SteveBarclay

In OH community team we haven’t had a single bad outcome from avoiding recommending thickened fluids unless it’s patient preference. Only happier people, improved secretions and hydration. The team’s commitment to EBP & patient first care has been inspirational. @oxfordhealthAHP

@prisachania @ABI_CEN I personally don’t like it or think it is relevant functionally. I get much more from informal personalised assessment working in neuro rehab. There are also better quality cognitive and language assessments that can be used instead of it.

@HRobertsSLT @EmilySLT How is breathing coordination? Maybe you could start with some breathing exercises, leading on to easy onset voice work. Also AAC options.

Any top tips/ideas for therapy approaches for severe ataxic dysarthria? Patient has tracheostomy with one-way valve use and struggles to coordinate voicing with articulation. @EmilySLT and I would be very grateful for your thoughts!

I got asked by a nurse today what level of autism I had and where I was on the spectrum? What does this even mean? I’ve got a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also said, “we’re all a little bit autistic aren’t we?” I wish I knew how to respond to comments like this.
