The thing is, @MatthewParris3, we are usually a matter of inches or feet from other people, not yards, so the natural unit to use in this case would probably be the foot. Thus, "six feet".

My entire worldly KINGDOM for a Guinness glass that holds a can perfectly.. I've genuinely lost sleep about the 68ml of breathing space cans have in the pint glasses I have in the house here.
