Schumer gambit fails as DHS shutdown hits 36 days and airport lines grow foxnews.com/politics/schum… #FoxNews

Would you stop?

Occam's Razor: The simplest explanation for why Washington never delivers the big, obvious fixes Americans actually want, secure borders, proof of citizenship to vote, spending restraint, term limits, insider trading bans, isn't "it's complicated" or "bipartisanship is hard." It's that the players in the game benefit from the dysfunction and are ALL corrupted by it! This isn't a conspiracy. It's incentives, plain as day. We have a two-party system that functions as a Uniparty on the issues that matter most to the permanent DC class: Career politicians (@LeaderJohnThune, @SenSchumer, @SenMcConnell holdovers, the whole club) get re-elected by keeping voters angry and divided, not by solving problems. Solve it and the campaign cash dries up. Donors & corporations get cheap foreign labor, government contracts, regulatory moats, and influence. Loose borders and fuzzy elections are features, not bugs. Lobbyists & revolving-door K Street get rich cycling between Congress and six-figure gigs. The more complex and broken the system, the more "expertise" they sell. Media gets endless clicks from outrage cycles. Actual solutions kill the drama. Right now the poster child is the SAVE America Act. House passed it, proof of U.S. citizenship to register, photo ID to vote. 80%+ of Americans support it. @POTUS wants it. 🇺🇸 is screaming for it. Senate Majority Leader John Thune says he "supports it" and "we'll get a vote at some point." But he won't bring it to the floor and force the simple procedural move @chiproytx laid out (Feb 16): call it up, demand a quorum, make Democrats actually stand and talk if they want to block it. No rule changes needed. Just political will. Instead: excuses about "ramifications," "other priorities," "not enough votes to touch the filibuster." Same dance we've seen for years. Why? Because a truly clean voter roll threatens the comfortable gray area both sides have quietly exploited. It ends the game where margins can be padded, challenged, or "fortified" when convenient. This pattern repeats on everything: Border never gets secured because cheap labor and future voters are too valuable. Entitlements and debt balloon because touching them loses votes and donor money. Term limits never pass because the lifers would have to leave the club. Wars and foreign aid keep flowing because the military-industrial gravy train is bipartisan. Congressional insider trading stays "legal-ish" because it pads their portfolios. Tariffs to hit unfair trade and bring leverage/jobs back poll hugely popular, but Congress won't pass clear, permanent authority for them, because donors, corporations, and the status quo love cheap imports and low cost, open global chains too much. Americans who show up every two years, vote, donate, volunteer, the ones who actually built and sustain this country, get the shaft every single time. We get theater, photo-ops, and performative fights. They get power, money, and lifetime sinecures/cushy jobs. The two-party illusion keeps us punching left vs. right while the machine protects itself. Until the base stops rewarding the roadblocks and starts rewarding the fighters, primaries, accountability, real consequences, the shaft continues. Doesn't matter if it's R or D in the majority. The club always wins. Force the vote on SAVE. Or admit the system is working exactly as designed, just not for 🇺🇸.

The entire Trump administration from the top on down were under surveillance by the Biden administration AND some players are still there under @AGPamBondi This is OBSCENE 👀
