@fc_mossman @TheSecondBallFC Van Dijk is still pretty good. Not imperious any more but still a class act. Salah'a down turn is surprising.

@TheSecondBallFC I think pretty he’s obviously a step slower, but it’s more manageable as a defender than as an attacker just due to the nature of the position. The drop off manifests itself in inconsistency, rather than just a clean performance level decline match in match out.

Rewind your brain 12 months and many Liverpool fans were extremely vocal about how bad a job Michael Edwards was doing to not have Salah and Van Dijk’s contract situation sorted out. Now they’ve fallen off the age cliff. Not that Liverpool can/should have done things way differently, it’s just a cautionary example of squad building with a reliance on age. It can happen quick, it can happen to the best, and the downsides are magnified in the evermore physical English game.

@The_Mighty_Mojo I think that's fair. Ultimately the fan base will have to accept he's not Ali. But I'm hopeful he's got real quality. You know when we signed him Transfermrkt valued him the most valuable keeper in world football. I've seen him make an Ali vs PSG type performance against Real

@AnEpicSwindle The difficulty is not in his quality, but in replacing an all-timer like Alisson - a man who made the improbable look effortless, and dragged Liverpool out of the fire. Every slightly below par performance will be held against those standards.

Some might want to reflect on that. When people are trying to attack us, not the message, here’s a fella who’s not exactly our ally, ran clubs and been at LFC saying why do this Listen to it here - 2mins10seconds in youtu.be/7NpEKZy3siE?si…

It’s fair to say I’m not Christian Purslow’s biggest fan. He and organised supporter groups at LFC haven’t exactly seen eye to eye. And yet here he is, like us, questioning why LFC are increasing prices and increasing prices over multiple seasons in his podcast

@Sieben81518450 @ModernWarzone Agree totally - they gave everything the community wanted and made the camo grind depth rewarding. For whatever reason though it was nearly dead on arrival. I don't think Doug has really played it or promoted it - everyone was on Arc.

@ModernWarzone I love it so much man. Cant remember when the last time was I had so much fun in COD besides MWIII. BO7 really brought cod back, but not its community, which is very sad because I feel like after so many rough years it cod finally deserves it, but doesnt get it.

@TheUfoJoe As far as we know the whole of Congress could be misinformed. They have not verified a single piece of evidence presented to them. This is Ufology. I think you need to get outside more and touch grass. Your behaviour is becoming increasingly concerning.

🔴 Yan Diomande: Leipzig are planning a contract adjustment with a performance-based salary increase to reward his outstanding development. The deal would still have no release clause. Leipzig want to keep him another season, but the Ivorian isn’t unsellable - price tag from €100m and rising. @SkySportDE ℹ️ Alle Infos: sport.sky.de/fussball/artik…

🚨 SCOUTING REPORT: WHY YAN DIOMANDE IS THE ONLY HEIR TO THE THRONE. With Salah officially leaving, the PR machines are pushing safe, mid-tier names. But if FSG are serious, there is only one target: Yan Diomande. Here is the objective tactical breakdown of why the 19-year-old RB Leipzig phenom is a generational profile: 📊 The Raw Output:At just 19 years old, Diomande has 10 goals and 6 assists in 26 Bundesliga appearances this season. He is averaging a goal contribution every 117 minutes in a top-5 league. He literally became the second-youngest player in Bundesliga history to score a hat-trick when he dismantled Eintracht Frankfurt in December. ⚡️ The Tactical Fit (The Anti-Antony):Diomande is not a YouTube-compilation winger who wastes 10 seconds doing useless stepovers. He is a vertical, aggressive nightmare for fullbacks. Standing at 1.80m (5'11"), he has the physical frame to survive the Premier League. He receives the ball wide, isolates his man, and drives straight into the penalty area. He’s comfortable on both flanks but lethal when cutting inside. 🛡️ The Klopp/Alonso DNA:What makes him a true Liverpool target is his off-the-ball work. Ole Werner (Leipzig’s manager) has built a system reliant on high-intensity counter-pressing, and Diomande is the trigger. He doesn't just attack; he hunts the ball down. That defensive work rate is exactly why he is tailor-made for Anfield. 🧠 The "Mental Monster" Trait:This kid’s journey is absurd. He went from playing on the streets of Abidjan, moved to the US (Florida) without speaking a word of English, dominated at DME Academy, earned a move to Spain (Leganés), and then forced a €20m move to Germany. He had to overcome the tragic passing of his younger sister right before his professional debut. He is battle-tested, mentally unbreakable, and hungry. Leipzig want €100m. Pay it. We are replacing a King; you don't do that by hunting for bargains in the clearance bin. Get him to Anfield. 🇨🇮🔴 #LFC #Diomande #RBLeipzig #PremierLeague

🚨 Excl. - #Liverpool are interested in signing #Leipzig’s winger Yan #Diomande (born in 2006). No official bid yet, but first positive talks. #LFC are preparing a bid to submit to Leipzig. Ready for the young talent a contract until 2031 with the option for 2032 to convince him

Liverpool could sign two wingers this summer. On the right, finding a Mo Salah successor is something #LFC have been planning for long before negotiating an exit package allowing the Egyptian to leave on a free. New left-winger on the club's radar since Luis Diaz departed for Bayern. Leipzig's Yan Diomande is one target, and a player high in Manchester United and Bayern's thinking as well. Leipzig value the winger at €100m, but suitors feel that price will drop this summer. Appreciation for Michael Olise but Bayern are not planning a sale. PSG also working on extending Bradley Barcola and in no mood to entertain offers. Same for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who has been linked with Arsenal. Liverpool have historical interest in Anthony Gordon having almost signed him in summer 2024. Sources downplay interest in Francisco Conceição despite reports. A more central creative attacker could also be considered, especially if capable of operating in wide areas as well. Liverpool are one of the clubs who appreciate Morgan Rodgers, with an exit possible this summer despite an extension last year.🔴

🚨ℹ️ 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢 - @David_Ornstein via The Athletic Podcast: "When you look around who they might be, they like Yan Diomande at RB Leipzig. That’s a player that they have been keen on for some time. When I’ve looked into previously, the finances have been out of reach, or deemed out of reach, and they are not the only club in that regard." "From the way it was described to me, the process really ramps up now, which insinuates it wasn’t already advanced. But I think Liverpool will have made their checks for some time."

@JayMcKenna87 It would be far more useful to everybody in football if UEFA/FIFA introduced a cap to ticket prices - normalising all clubs so that there is no advantage. Cap a ticket at £25. Appreciate this is the type of at home comment which bears ignorance so maybe there's more to it.

@JayMcKenna87 Personally think it's more an issue of the price of a ticket generally than the increases below because 1 or 2 quid extra over an 8 year period during which we've experienced hyper inflation seems reasonable from the club imo. What isn't reasonable are the prices themselves.

Amidst many issues with the decision of LFC today, there is a claim in their release about Kop tickets not increasing under FSG’s ownership. It’s weird to say, because it’s just not true. Their release, 2017/18 prices and 2025/26 prices here…

I have no idea if this photo is authentic but it serves a point: I honestly think we’ve been misled by physics into thinking there’s a separate morphology for ‘disc’, ‘tic tac’, and even ‘orb’. A vehicle that’s engineering spacetime cannot be observed arbitrarily of its spacetime engineering. The shape you see is a function of what it’s doing to spacetime. You can’t trust the photons reaching you as an agnostic source of truth. The shape is likely a function of how it operates.

🚨 There are Pyramids all over the Galaxy 👽🛸 Scientist Steve Colbern just sat down with Jesse Michels Podcast to share his wild experience. “They’re power sources.” Grey aliens are allegedly part of “an alliance of seven different races from planets within 100 light-years” of Earth. And the Greys allegedly told him why Earth is so important to “a lot” of extraterrestrial races: “Planets that have some life are pretty common.” “But planets that are teeming with life like this are not common at all.” “He said there’s only four or five like it in the galaxy.” “They want to preserve life on the planet, and they are worried we’re gonna screw it up.” Watch this incredible interview on Jesse Michels Podcast.
