Our work on how the hippocampus processes novelty to form new memories is now published @NatureComms! Using in vivo ephys, virtual reality and modelling, we found a synaptic signal in DG that could work as a switch from recall to new memory formation. 📜: nature.com/articles/s4146…

Very happy to share @AnTokarska Ania’s PhD paper, just published @CellReports! We used Chrna2-Cre mice (K Kullander @UU_University) to study striatal interneurons expressing the nicotinic α2 receptor subunit. Inspired by work from @JTep & @Maxime_Assous cell.com/cell-reports/f…
