The meeting brings together the Ministry of Lands, @NLC_Kenya , CoG, and sector partners to chart a coordinated, phased, and inclusive pathway toward mass community land registration across the country. Honoured to have officially opened a two days National Conservancies Leaders Conference and AGM courtesy of the gracious invitation of the @KWCAKenya and under the theme: Securing the Future: Investing in Kenya's Conservancies for Long-Term Sustainability. The conference has brought together chairpersons from 230 conservancies across the country. KWCA continues to champion locally led conservation that balances ecological integrity with social and economic development at the grassroots. The State Department for Wildlife acknowledges the enormous role that conservancies play in securing more spaces for wildlife conservation and the contribution to strengthening community-led governance.
