Okay Bob. I’ll do it your way. John, I absolutely loved watching and hearing you play with Bobby and the rest of the band over the years – it has been one of the great joys of my life as a fan. The bond and heart connection between you and Bobby was so apparent, and that’s part of what makes this loss feel so devastating to witness from the outside. I was especially moved by the tenderness and care you showed him at GD60 in San Francisco last August; those moments are now living treasures in my memory. My heart goes out to you as you navigate this grief and all the complicated emotions that come with losing such a profound musical and spiritual partner. Thank you for the love, respect, and magic you shared with Bobby, and for letting all of us feel a bit of that connection through the music. @united It’s an uneasy feeling when a pilot says that we will be flying over the Rockies and “Let’s hope for the best “ I know he means Turbulence, BUT he should say we “will experience turbulence as we fly over the Rockies, & to remain seated when the seatbelt signs are on”. Saying “Let’s Hope for the Best” makes the passengers feel uneasy.
