I just saw a post where a woman said, I submitted an application for a job WAAAAAAY out of my league. Of course they rejected my application due to insufficient experience. So i followed up with a well articulated email expressing my interest in the company and requesting insight on how to grow into the position... the recruiter set up a meeting, which led to a job offer. I just wanted you guys to know that you really have to put yourself out there and establish connections. You will deadass miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Saw a viral tweet this weekend about a woman who said, I have terminal stage 4 colon cancer. I am dying. My kids are 22, 12 and 10. I have been processing this for the last year and am doing pretty OK emotionally. This morning I had a completely irrational panic attack about my husband remarrying or even just falling in love again. I want him to always be Monika's husband. Just mine. When the poor man came home for lunch I grabbed him crying and told him that I'm going to scratch her eyes out. He just held me and I calmed down. But it's really hard.
