Ya’ll hear about the Woman who’s husband won a ysl gift basket (probably worth $$$$) at a work raffle and he gave it to his FEMALE co-worker instead of his WIFE? Anyways, I just saw her update and she’s getting a divorce and I couldn’t be prouder of her for walking away from a man who doesn’t appreciate her as a first thought... 🫶🏾

A 59-year-old man robbed a bank. He did so by handing the teller a note asking for one dollar. Just one dollar. After receiving his dollar, he sat down and waited for the police to arrive. He suffered from chronic health problems, was a delivery driver and had recently lost his job and, with it, his health insurance. As a result, he couldn't afford the medical care he needed to live. He knew that in prison he would receive that care even without insurance, so he committed the robbery simply to survive. He was sentenced to one year in prison, during which he received life-saving medical treatment. A civilized country should never allow any of its citizens to become so desperate for medical care that they have to commit armed robbery just to survive. Making people pay exorbitant fees for the medicines and treatments they need simply to generate profit is an insane injustice

Apparently he also went bragging about giving it to said co-worker and even took pics. TF!! Woman came forward and said she has put in so much work taking care of their son and hadn’t had a self care day since their son was born. The fact that he didn’t even think of her. My hubby would’ve RANN home to me with that!!! 😭💄

He took one deep breath, slapped a smile back on his face and walked back out onto the floor saying, 'Who needs another refill?' Be nice to service workers. You have no idea what tragedy they are navigating.

Last night my waiter was cracking jokes, refilling drinks, making peoples kids laugh. Cool as a fan! I went to the bathroom and took a wrong turn near the kitchen. I saw him leaning against the walk-in freezer door, eyes closed, looking like he wanted to breakdown, and leave that second...

A little girl at the airport walked up, hugged my leg, and said, "I knew you'd be here." Me to her dad: "I think she thought I was someone else." Dad: "No... she's painfully shy and never approaches strangers. That's actually the first hug she's ever given someone she doesn't know." Me:

Don’t bring your kid to my table, in a restaurant, to beg for cake while I’m celebrating. You are setting that kid up to get their feelings hurt. Immediately, No..

@ZoyaBloomz Sometimes.. control hides behind the language of concern, making it easy to mistake fear for love. Healthy care gives u freedom while control slowly takes it away...

At the café, the woman at the next table said quietly, “He is not controlling. He just worries when I go out.” Her friend asked, “Then why do you look nervous every time your phone lights up?” She stopped stirring her coffee. One moment cannot tell us the whole story of a relationship. But sometimes, a small reaction reveals a pattern worth noticing. Concern usually leaves room for choice. Control often arrives wearing the language of care, then makes you explain your clothes, your friends, your timing, your tone, and eventually, your own intentions. The hidden cost is rarely one dramatic sacrifice. It is the slow editing of your life to prevent someone else’s reaction. A useful question is not only, “Does this person care about me?” Ask: “Does their care make me feel supported, or increasingly supervised?” The answer may not decide everything. But it can help you see what you have been calling normal.

he says he plans to save most of it, no travelling, no celebration, probably a dinner over at sukiya? i asked if we can buy a simple gold bracelet for me (i was thinking maybe a dainty bracelet).. he said no. note that we fall under a t20 category (my salary is more than his), with no kids. i understand its important to save, but what harm does it make to spend your money on experiences & gifts? i never asked for money from his salary, only gifts once in a while. am i the problem..

am i the problem? been married 1 year.. noticed my husband has this trait of being extremely frugal. he’s very careful with his finances, he’s 30 and pre-marriage has savings close to RM200k. after our wedding, he keeps on reiterating the fact that he lost his savings and is trying to recover back to the pre-wedding savings, note that he now still has around RM120k worth of savings. every year he gets a lucrative amount of bonus ~6 months. and i asked him what he would do once he gets the bonus...
