Our season came to an end last night in the quarterfinals with a 70-68 2-OT loss to Pitkin. We accomplished a lot (32-5 Overall/ 4-B District Champs) but fell short of our ultimate goal of winning a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! I’m proud of the guys & how hard they worked all season!

I hate the way the season ended, but I’m more disappointed for our 4 seniors (Ethan/ Tanner Dowden/ Landon Goodwin/ Greyden Reese). All 4 are great young men & have been a pleasure to coach!

The best player on a team isn’t always the player who scores the most. Sometimes it’s the player who has a high IQ or a diverse/versatile skill set or a player who is unselfish & coachable or who knows their role inside & out. Basing “good” only on points scored is a big mistake!
