"All humans are perfectly identical aside from skin color." Laughably false: observationally, in terms of genetic research, even logically. But even if we accepted that as true, that would imply that racism would become acceptable were it not true (recent Reich lab report on European IQ gains in the past 10k years, for example). And yet that position will never be acceded to, because the idea that we are all equal *is* the religious claim that everything else comes out of. You can't deny it, even hypothetically, and no amount of evidence could change his conviction in its regard.

@WebHeadAK @PYeerk This is intentional dishonesty, right? You aren't so much of a raped slave that you actually think that motivated journalistic misuse of a term changes its definition? Vogue Magazine isn't actually your God, right?

@PYeerk You know what I’m talking about, moron. your profile comes off like yet another failed artist who became conservative, shouldn’t you understand the term does not mean non-existence? x.com/webheadak/stat…
anthony@WebHeadAK

@NinePlusOne2 That’s what I am trying to say. It’s the literal definition of banned, which doesn’t mean to not exist. It just means to be kept away from a specific area or setting. Alcohol was once banned, did everyone stop drinking?

A lot of young men waste their athletic peak focusing solely on getting big and strong in the gym. Gym is excellent, obviously, but some of you are completely unaware of latent superior & fast twitch genetics you possess. Could achieve near superhuman feats in your youth beyond just being jacked if you trained for them. Optimal transition of the body through life is to maximise your athletic capacity before age 35. Focusing on being as explosive, agile, and co-ordinated as possible. You will never be more athletic than this. Father time atrophies those metrics first. You'll have to be very strong to reach the peak anyway, but brute strength is the last to decline & you can make absurd strength and size gains well after age 40. In everything you do: It is worth seeing the heights you can reach.

@seanpureDFS @charlesmurray Surely we can then make a copy, right? Or at least explain how it was done? Oh, no? I guess we have at least some record of the medieval monk who allegedly invented photography a few centuries early, told nobody, and did it better than we can? No? Huh. What's obvious about it?

Thank you. A nice antidote to glib dismissiveness of the most baffling piece of cloth ever.

I believe the Shroud of Turin was forged by a medieval artist. I believe he chose a very expensive linen cloth to wow only the very few who would notice, matched the Gospel accounts in extraordinary detail, rejected the artistic conventions of his own time in many ways for the only known time in history, depicted crucifixion with striking anatomical realism, used real blood or blood-derived material instead of simply painting the wounds, created an unremarkable faint image whose most remarkable property would not be recognized until photography revealed it as a negative more than five centuries later, embedded three-dimensional image information that would only be discovered with modern image analysis, produced an image so superficial that modern microscopy still can’t explain it, anticipated details that align perfeclty with modern forensic understanding of crucifixion, executed the entire work without mistakes or corrections on a valuable cloth, he nailed it without error in one shot, invented a technique that no one has convincingly reproduced, left no record of how he did it, inspired no known followers, and did it to wow only us centuries later as nobody viewing the work at the time would even see it for what it is, and then disappeared from history without anyone ever mentioning the greatest technical achievement of medieval art.

One time a homeless man showed up at my local parish asking to sleep there because it was dark and raining. Priest allowed it. Guy spent the next week showing up all the time, harassing parishioners for money after mass, and doing drugs in front of the Church.
elijah🏪@EdwardVersaii

As a pastor at a church with mostly homeless congregants I’ve become hyper aware of how anti-homeless sentiment has seeped into every corner our society. Absolutely disturbing. If you don’t have empathy for the homeless you don’t have Christ dwelling within you.

You’re just not a very smart person if you think you independently arrived at a moral stance around 5-7. I don’t know what else to tell you, you’re just not that smart.

There are lots of low-level crimes that our legal system presently ignores that, in terms of intent, are so heinous they should be treated like severe violent offenses. This is a great example.

I don't think telling you any such problems would be productive, since you're retreating to pseudo-intellectual bullshit instead of making an actual point anymore. 'Oh it's useless to critique my ideas because no idea is perfect' you're a pompous queer, and that alone is an easy one of the million problems: what the hell does 'perfect' mean in a world where all value is subjective? It seems like it would have to be an objective measure that exists outside of our references in the real world: you're once again smuggling God into the discussion because you don't even have the vocabulary to approach the world as the relativist you claim you are. There 'has' to be a mold for us, and that mold 'has' to be society: if someone disagrees, what is your argument that establishes you as objectively right and them as objectively wrong? If you aren't being objective, then I guess you're just an illiterate or dishonest in using objective, impersonal terminology. Every time you say something 'has' to happen or it 'needs' something else, in this conversation, you're assuming objective morality and wrapping it up in grandiose Tumblr-speak because you aren't smart enough to engage with relativism honestly. I'm a better relativist than you are, and I'm a staunch Christian.
