I am shattered and I can't stop crying. Yesterday my husband took our two cats to the vet for blood work for my cat Idris so she could come in for a teeth cleaning and my other cat Pinecone just needed some vaccines. I was at home with out daughter and the visit was taking a long time. He text me and told me that she was super distressed (like she often is at the vet, especially with bloodwork) so they wanted to observe her until she calmed down. Well, she did with a bit of sedation but she still wasn't breathing properly. They did an xray and found her lungs full of fluid and cancer. They put her down right there while I wasn't there. She was only 10 and seemed fine. She was my little cuddly stalker, often following me around the house just to see where I was sitting down next. When he came home and I asked where Idris was, he started crying and told me. It still doesn't feel real. She was sitting on me this time yesterday. I miss her so much and I don't know how to cope.

@tinkertonplunk I'm so sorry! We lost our baby the same way a few days before last Christmas. It's harder when it's unexpected I think. At least when you're forced to send your baby across the bridge there's time to absorb what's about to happen. People whose dogs die suddenly can't prepare

Bert , ❤️ we lost our Beautiful baby yesterday, he got spooked and managed to run off, he got hit by a car. we rushed him to vets,unfortunately he didn't make it. I have never felt this bad in my life.💔

Milo just passed away next to me 😭💔💫 I don’t know what to do anymore. I woke up, looked him in the eyes, he gasped three times for air and passed away. I am so heartbroken, my baby Bean, my son Dario’s best friend, his soulmate. He was everything 😭💔💫 the pet funeral home is going to pick him up 11.00 am. And now the other dogs have to say goodbye 😭💔💫 oh Bean I miss you so much already 😭😭💔💫
