Today we lay to rest a great leader, senior comrade and friend, Hon. Toolit Simon Akecha in Te-Got Ayamo, in Omoro District. From our interactions with him and his family, Hon. Toolit never enjoyed his earthly life, precisely because of his belief and conscience.

We’ve learned with shock and great sorrow of the untimely passing of comrade Hon. Toolit Simon Akecha this afternoon at St. Mary's Lacor Hospital in Gulu. Hon. Toolit was our flag bearer in the recent by-election in Omoro Constituency.
