@t_tsuji @ALUMII It's not uncommon in other countries. The US is very secular, so you only see things like house blessings on a personal level. In Christianity there's also a direct connection to God, so people will pray for blessings all the time on their own.

I refuse to believe you guys don't see the problem here. It's one thing for the Europeans not to provide direct support for the operation. It's another for France to deny the use of its airspace for cargo deliveries or for the UK to muddle over domestic base usage. There is no point in being in an alliance that can't provide such basic guarantees of cooperation.

I've seen quite a few Fantasy and TTRPG posts from Japan. Do the Japanese know about Conan? I imagine the movie made it there, but is it well known? What about the written stories?

@hosi8huru The Japanese simply aren't religious in that way. Acting like this, or harming a shrine, is simply vandalism. It would not turn anyone to Christ and would turn many away. Christ spoke often of the good foreigner who acted better. The Samaritan. This is the Japanese to me.

@Tomoejp1236 @NachosIsHere It would be unacceptable. I enjoy going to Japanese shrines, but God makes it very clear there are no gods above him. It's a tricky thing, but the Christian God is very specific, religion is not spread by force. People often mistake the crusades as spreading by force.

@dramerica88 There is a "Potato" diet. It resets your brain when it's not functioning properly. Some people get so addicted to sweets or salt that they can't identify their limits anymore. It's easy to get sick of plain potato for every meal, so they don't end up eating much of it.
