The response I received to post welcoming completion of new path at Dixon Park. I am almost immune to the childish, homophobic nonsense responses, but this account is linked to a preacher at Bloomfield Ave Congregational Church. I cant confirm if he wrote it, but seriously?

One of the craziest figures of the 19th Century was Clareman James Patrick Mahon >Born 1800 in Ireland as Charles James Patrick Mahon
>dad fights in 1798 rebellion, mother rich heiress
>Trinity College, law degrees
>dad dies, inherit land, call yourself “The O’Gorman Mahon” cuz it sounds cooler and makes you sound like clan chief
>become magistrate, join Catholic Association
>convince Daniel O’Connell to run for parliament in Clare, helps kick off Catholic Emancipation
>get elected MP for Clare in 1830
>unseated for bribery but acquitted, classic
>fight like 13 duels, get stabbed 6 times, stab others 7 times
>marry rich heiress, barely see her, have one son who dies young
>use her wealth to go on adventures >go to Paris
>hang with Talleyrand, party at Louis-Philippe’s court >spend time in Africa and South America >befriend Ferdinand de Lesseps, engineer of the Suez Canal >1846 go back to Ireland, elected MP in 1847 again but lose 1852 election after disputing with Young Irelanders >dip out of politics >back to Paris
>Go to Russia and join Tsar’s Imperial bodyguard, fight Tartars and hunt bears with future tsar
>trek through Finland, Siberia, China, India, Arabia
>run out of money >become Ottoman mercenary for money >then become mercenary for Austrians >Return to England 1858 >Back to South America >try various canal schemes in Central America akin to Panama, prob for idea from Suez guy >investigate British captain’s murder in Peru >Become general in Uruguayan army >command a Chilean fleet >Become colonel in Pedro II’s Brazilian army (legend says they made him archbishop lmao)
>American Civil War breaks out? fuck it, sail over and fight for the Union in your 60s
>back to Europe, Napoleon III makes you colonel of chasseurs
>hang with Bismarck in Berlin and become close associates >nearly broke from adventures >invest in all sorts of speculative investments >1871 move back to Ireland >Become founding member of Parnell’s Home Rule League
>keep running for parliament, win some, lose some, ally with Parnell then split over the mistress drama
at age 87 win by-election in Carlow >become one of the oldest MPs ever in Westminster
>die 1891 in London still in office at 91, funeral attended by Parnell
 19th century Forest Gump

Just don’t see any way that United spending €90m on a striker would be the smartest choice after Cunha and Mbeumo. I don’t see it. If we’ve got that kind of money (maybe we don’t and that’s the whole issue) then it should be going on a game changing midfielder.

🚨⚪️⚫️ Newcastle have sent official bid to RB Leipzig for Benjamin Šeško worth €90m package. €80m plus €10m add-ons on the table from #NUFC. ⏹️ No decision yet from the player. Manchester United confirmed again to RB Leipzig that they will bid if Šeško picks them.

"We have this problem continually in Northern Ireland because the minister runs their own department there from a different political party to the other." @timcairns believes this is the reason for breakdown in communications over the development of the A5... Do you agree?

It was great to visit @belfastairport today to see the significant investment into the site including the security hall & duty free, and to discuss the recent investments, road infrastructure, rail connections and the economic contributions of the airport with CEO Dan Owens.

I can accept that an evil man who is surrounded by evil people is running this country. I can even accept that are doing evil things that cannot be stopped because of power dynamics. What I will never accept is that so called "Christians" support this evil regime with glee.

So, this happened. Twitter has banned us for what? ‘An authentic account, specifically for impersonation.’ Terrific, that makes total sense 🤔 Thanks so much. Will do our best to get it sorted but what a ridiculous automatic system.

@HwsEleutheroi I know Spanish evangelicals who were persecuted by Franco. It was no Utopia. In Algeciras near Gibraltar they had their own independent school. The guy who said that he would like to live in a Franco-esque state needs his head looked. Cuckoo for Coco Pops!

Roony Bardghji, born on November 15, 2005, in Kuwait City, Kuwait, is a 19-year-old Swedish footballer of Syrian descent who has emerged as one of Europe’s most exciting young talents. Playing primarily as a right winger for FC Copenhagen in the Danish Superliga, he stands at 173 cm and is known for his left-footed brilliance. His contract with Copenhagen runs until December 2025, and his market value is estimated between €7.5m and €9m. Bardghji’s playing style draws comparisons to Lionel Messi, earning him the nickname “The Swedish Messi.” He excels at dribbling with exceptional close control, cutting in from the right wing to unleash precise shots or passes with his dominant left foot. His pace, technical ability, and knack for scoring in big moments, like his 87th-minute winner against Manchester United in the 2023 UEFA Champions League, highlight his potential. However, he still needs to develop physicality and consistency to reach the elite level. Versatile enough to play as an attacking midfielder or forward, Bardghji thrives in roles that allow him to roam and create. His career began in Sweden, where he moved at age six, progressing through the youth systems of Kallinge SK, Rödeby AIF, and Malmö FF before joining FC Copenhagen’s academy in 2020. In 2021, he became Copenhagen’s youngest-ever debutant at 16 years and 6 days in a match against AGF. His 2023/24 season was a breakout, contributing nine goals and assists in the Danish Superliga and Champions League. Internationally, he has represented Sweden at the U17 level and dreams of playing for the senior national team.
