@Eschatology22 I mean i despise all the others but given the sheer amount of money spent to destroy our civilization by the mainlines, i don’t see how you could answer otherwise.

It's LOOK-A-LIKE's day, and a lot of movie stars are either a lot older than they're letting on or have some doppelgangers from years gone by... First, Matthew McConaughey and a Reddit user's great-great-Grandfather. 1/25

Many different kinds of people won’t like this (objectively correct take) but Hispanics becoming Protestant is a key indicator that they have assimilated into America and it is reflected in them voting for the “We Love America” party against the “We Hate America” party.
captive dreamer@captive_dreamer

So apparently Hispanic protestants were more likely to vote for Trump than White Catholics in the 2024 election. True?

Getting 10-15K steps in per day is actually way harder than you'd expect. You have to be intentional in order to do it. Any hacks or ways some of you do this consistently?

Want some truth? If the Democrats get a 53 vote majority in the Senate they will pass Amnesty and laugh at the Republicans that wouldn’t pass election integrity with a 53 vote majority. (Both will be happy)

I know a number of British people who lived 1 to 2 years in Italy and then came back. The constant is that they have young children. Whatever they tell you, if you ask them about the Italian school system, they will eventually admit that it was, if not the main one, one of the critical items for them. Italian primary school is much harder than the British one. An awful lot of Italian parents cope with that by literally abandoning their children to their own devices. Most take a more proactive stance, so they either start tutoring their children themselves (a couple of hours a day per child starting in year 1) or pay for tutors to do it in their stead. In primary school, British kids have homework once per week. Italian kids have homework once per day, doubled over the weekend. If you visit Italian homes in the afternoon and they have children, it is pretty standard to see the kids sitting at the main table with books and notebooks spread all around, with a parent or a tutor sitting with them for the whole session. Also, the amount of books they have to carry to school every day is borderline unbelievable. You would think they are training them to carry legionary backpacks. For people accustomed to the gentle British primary schooling, the Italian system feels borderline insane. Note also that it has massively eased up: in my childhood, we had to memorise a long poem every weekend (which back then meant Sunday, as Saturday was school day). h/t @GroovySciFi

I hate to say it… But I’m struggling to be generous after all the fraud we’ve seen. There’s so few charities I trust now. I do a deep dive on a homeless charity… oh look, my tax dollars are funding that and it’s run by a Trump-hating Leftist. A Christian charity? Oh look, they’re helping illegal aliens. An education nonprofit? Oh look, it’s getting money from Left-wing political groups to send in Democrat activists to give lectures on LGBTQ oppression. Even my TAX DOLLARS I know are being used to fund some BS non-profit that probably has me on a list somewhere as an extremist and is actively trying to cancel me. It’s hard to be generous when I’m already being generously stolen from in taxes and when even the nonprofits aren’t actually solving the problems they reportedly exist to solve.

@owenbroadcast I’d say no because a solution requires an additional creative jump beyond the problem itself. Lots of people understood the problem of short lived filaments in lightbulbs but it took Edison to come up with the answer.

The biggest difference between Trump 1.0 and Trump 2.0 is that 45 thought he was dealing with stupidity, not evil. He thought he was dealing with incompetents and not renegades, lunatics and traitors. He honestly thought when they were presented with policies that made sense and worked, they would come to their senses and get with the program. Dealing with stupid people is playing checkers. Dealing with those who are evil and cunning requires you to play chess. Trump 1.0 was playing checkers while Democrats and the administrative state were playing chess. Trump 2.0 gets it. He is playing chess now. He has broken the decades long pattern of Republicans always mistaking evil for stupidity and then being surprised by the knife in their back.

Saying the words "white people" in front of a room of white people is WILD, I did it recently. Watch what happens around you... EXTREME discomfort. White people have been conditioned to believe that even saying the words "white people" is a slur. That to even acknowledge themselves as a group, is itself, an act of racism. Really, it's just an insane thing to realize how successful the psychological operation has been. An entire group of people have been taught to be afraid of their own name, taught that noticing themselves is a truly evil thing to do. Yet, simultaneously, taught that EVERY OTHER demographic can speak about itself like that, but if YOU say "White people" it's a slur. The operation was SO successful, it's insane.
