We study behavioral ecology, usually of songbirds. Social behavior, communication, bioacoustics, cognition, and conservation.
I had a blast as a panelist on the @AnimalBehavPod at the @AnimBehSociety conference @WesternU. We ate hot wings while answering questions from our fantastic host @MatthewZipple, accompanied by AI-generated songs and images for each of us. So much fun!

Periodic reminder to tell people how much you appreciate them-- friends, coworkers, family, etc. Tell them with specifics and not vague generalities. Tell them even if it's awkward. At some point, the opportunity to tell them will go away, and you'll want to have told them a lot.
