Yesterday morning, I noticed my students were wearing unusually nice shirts. It wasn’t until our lab meeting that I realized what was going on. It was a Hallowe'en send up; they were wearing the sort of shirts favoured by their supervisor. Hilarious! Happy Halloween, team. 🎃🐦‍⬛👕

This Hallowe'en I taught my Ecology class dressed as the symbiotic relationship between Bullhorn Acacias and Acacia Ants. Happy Hallowe'en! 🎃

I've enjoyed an inspiring visit to @michiganstateu these last two days, talking about vocal learning in sparrows, and sharing ideas about biology and ornithology. Thank you @mcgrawlabmsu and your great department!
