Why does someone who transitioned as a child and realized it was a big mistake not get as big as a voice as the people who push childhood transitions? This person has an experience that is just as important in the “ trans kid” conversation. What it says to me is that there is fear of something they do not want exposed. Period.
There are all these big people producing content that shows how fabulous “ trans kids “ are but nothing that pushes back.
I just came from a big film festival and only saw this one narrative which I think has every right to express what they believe. But why no documentaries with opposite opinion and voices like @JonniSkinner who has a very different experience of childhood transitions.

U of m ignored me for years when I was struggling after being medicalized they are not being honest with the amount of kids they are harming as when you start having negative effects they will ignore them, when you start having doubts or second guessing your decision that was made as a minor they will just drop you. This is an attack on human rights. Kansas is stripping trans people of their drivers licence unless they change it to the wrong gender. This will make it so they can’t drive and can’t vote. Get loud. If they can take rights away from trans people, they can take them from you.

I generally agree that "sex" designations on government documents should reflect accurate biological sex.
But the fact that there is no grace period to this change, and that they simply informed people that their licenses were invalid in like TWO DAYS, is really crappy, inconsiderate, and terrible policymaking.
