@CTtheMicSlayer Thank you for reaffirming what we already suspected. Many of the local media knew what had occurred but remained silent while wild rumors were spread because they didn't want to defy the organization and risk their access by sharing the truth about what had occurred.

Once Pop was out, had heard from multiple people Pop had a mild stroke. Other reporters around me locally got the same information. Didn’t feel the need to put the information out there prior to Spurs announcement. We are in the business to cover sports. Personal Health isn’t my right to put out to the public, imo. Didn’t think it was tactful for me to put that information out before the team did. Glad local reporters with same info in the city handled the situation tactfully.

For as long as I've been watching basketball -- which is a long time -- teams generally use the end of blowouts to clear benches and get other used players minutes.
