@JoshDavis1465 @JameyBaskow There are guys like Villanueve and Ryan Lin who could have the offensive upside we’d like at D, but they aren’t the prototype that the Flyers would draft at D. That’s mostly because they’re smaller D-men.

Bruce Cassidy helped Vegas win a Stanley Cup. Then Vegas fired him. Now they are going to block him from choosing his next job?
Who would want to work for an organization defined by malice and ingratitude? And what kind of team owner or manager would want to invite that kind of wretched karma on themselves?
If Vegas carries through on this threat and blocks Cassidy, good luck to them with the curse it will put on their franchise.

Another point to consider in the Vegas/Cassidy situation - the Golden Knights had to ask the Philadelphia Flyers for permission to talk to John Tortorella. The courtesy was granted and now Cassidy's replacement has VGK in the Western Conference final.

@brooklynvegan I just don’t see how you can put an unfinished album over Pet Sounds. I think if SMiLE was finished, we’d talk about it as the greatest ever, but it wasn’t. Even when Brian finished it in 2004, he said he was in a vastly different head space. It is amazing, though.

These lists bum me out because I want to hear about the strange hidden gems that authors love. They should have list of the canon of great books that they ABSOLUTELY CANNOT put on their list.

I have my issues with Vegas. (Nothing to do w/Torts, I enjoyed covering him actually.) But Anaheim is a team that arrived a couple years ahead of schedule because they hired an (undeniably great) coach who should not be in the NHL based on past actions. Want them eliminated ASAP.
