Why you for this project? 99% of the time... the answer is how you relate to the character arc. The fact that you have tattoos of the franchise on your neck is probably why you're in the room.

This unemployed ice cream truck driver memorized a game show’s secret pattern and won $110,000 in one day Michael Larson from Ohio recorded episodes of the CBS show Press Your Luck on his VCR and played them back frame by frame for weeks The board everyone thought was random was actually just 5 repeating patterns Two specific squares never landed on a Whammy and always hit the highest dollar values He spent his last savings on a bus ticket to Los Angeles, auditioned, and got on the show He then went 45 consecutive spins without hitting a single Whammy CBS executives watched from the control room in horror as his winnings kept climbing past anything they’d ever seen They accused him of cheating and reviewed the footage for weeks He hadn’t broken a single rule They mailed him a check The episode was so embarrassing CBS banned it from airing It didn’t air for 19 years An ice cream man from Ohio figured out what CBS couldn’t

Football isn’t even that complicated the guys that run some of these big clubs are just clowns. All BlueCo needed to do was swallow their pride, listen to what Maresca was telling them & back him with a few experienced players to help the likes of Palmer, James, Caicedo, Cucurella & Enzo out & Chelsea would be alright.

@Distant_Mirror_ @THR That new category will emerge from a demographic that doesn’t stream or go to the movies nearly as much as Gen-Z and Millennials. The demand will come from older generations who can’t tell the difference between AI slop and real art.

@THR It's over for the traditional Hollywood writer, film and TV. Let's be honest, 90% of the work is simplistic and derivative. But there will emerge a new category of producer/writer that'll be great for those who can rise to its demands.

@AndrewBishop13 It wasn’t instant with me either. Dirt was the first song I ever heard from them, via a mix some head complied for me. Dug it, didn’t take to the rest, for a while. My love for them grew at a time when I was using a lot of hard drugs. It seemed to compliment a sleazier lifestyle

The Stooges - Dirt Iggy’s on fire here, a vocal tour de force. A brooding, slow-rolling psychedelic stew, one that allows space for Ron to darkly skulk around in. Which he does, rather brilliantly. 1970.

@SalvadorDafti I was into bands like Earth Crisis, Blood for Blood, and Converge but “Dirt” felt like the heaviest thing I ever heard. Iggy sounded like a wounded animal, Ron’s riff like a sharp stick, and Scotty and Dave’s rhythm like a small cage. Coming down from psychedelics helped too, ha.

My generation learned the hard way to deal with disappointment. We'd rent videos with incredible Vallejo-esque box art: a vast post-apocalyptic hellscape populated with bizarrely-clad warriors and snarling mutants, everything on fire. Then we'd hit play and it was dogshit.
