@TheFFRealist @slodown4what I found Batman vs Superman also very loooong and at times, dry. I get the DCU was more serious than the MCU in terms of the films, but maybe that's it, maybe the comedy stuff helped push the story forward in the MCU.

As much as I think Ben Affleck was an underrated Batman, the biggest mistake Zach Snyder made was having Batman V Superman be the follow up to Man of Steel.
