Update on Panama: Since we won't be physically relocating for at least 5 years, we decided to purchase a commercial property as a way of residency. Money has been transferred. Legal paperwork and immigration are being processed. It was a lot of work to get to this point, but it feels good knowing we have a physical plan B.
