@BishopJaxi "the endless theological innovations". You are funny. Like the immaculate conception. Clerical celibacy. Indulgences. Papal infallibility.

You don’t have to lie about Protestantism to make it look bad btw.. The thousands of ever-fragmenting denominations, mutually contradictory doctrines, the complete absence of any normative authority, the endless theological innovations, and the utter failure to preserve the unity Christ prayed for are more than enough. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Protestantism is its own worst advertisement.
5 Solas@5Solas

If you have to lie about Protestantism in an attempt to make it look bad, that tells you everything you need to know. If I want to make Eastern Orthodoxy look bad, all I have to do is tell the truth about it.

@osasisHERESY O dear. comparing apples and oranges. OSAS refers to individuals. The great apostasy or falling away refers to the general population. ie look at Europe. In one generation almost complete Apostasy.

Messiah is Israel. The branches in him by faith get their idenity from him. The church is the fellowship of the branches in the realized promise of the servants' arrival. Their is no replacement for Messiah. He came as the singular sees of Abraham's faith. The servant, who is Israel from God via the womb, came to bring a people of God who are Israel to God, that people was always the branches in him by faith in God. They are the only Israel that was ever Israel. The fleshly people are Esau's kingdom. The spiritual people are Jacob's decendants who receive the blessings from Israel, the servant, and bear his name as blesses in him.

@AndrewChis56024 Wrong Romans 8:12-13 KJV [12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. [13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live

If you think sin can't separate you from God then go ahead and live in unrepentant sin the rest of your life and quench the Spirit and never pray and have a relationship with Christ the rest of your life and see how that goes for eternity I hate the teachings of man and the watered down nonsense that makes people feel good in their flesh smh
Ashley Hays@Ashleyhays2089

Our salvation is dependent upon Gods grip on us- not our grip on Him. And He doesn’t let go of what’s TRULY His. If we could lose our salvation, every single one of us would. And no, this is not excuse to live however we want- but He doesn’t let go of His children.

@osasisHERESY Nope. Romans 8:29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

@osasisHERESY Of course. Paul repeatedly warns about living a life worthy of the gospel. But that is not your OP about sin separating us from God for all eternity. John says clearly that if we say we have no sin we are liars.

@osasisHERESY I know what point you are trying to make and you are wrong because Christians don't live in unrepent sin. Romans 8 tells us that we are being sanctified. You introduce a strawman to attack Calvinism.

@RevesJM 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. Jesus includes himself in the one true God.

On this 250th anniversary of American Independence, we give thanks to the one true God, the Father alone (John 17:3). The Declaration’s bold stand for liberty echoes the religious freedom our forebears fought for. Thomas Jefferson’s Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom reminds us that no man should be compelled in matters of conscience or worship. True freedom begins with knowing the only true God and His Son, Jesus the Messiah. America250

@bambootigerArt @RevesJM "Who did Jesus say we should pray to, and worship ?" Himself. John 5:23-24 "that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him" John 14:14 "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."

That would be the one Jehovah appointed : Acts 17: 30,31 True, God has overlooked the times of such ignorance; but now he is declaring to all people everywhere that they should repent. 31 Because he has set a day on which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him from the dead.” Acts 10: 37,38,40-42 You know the subject that was talked about throughout all Ju·deʹa, starting from Galʹi·lee after the baptism that John preached: 38 about Jesus who was from Nazʹa·reth, how God anointed him with holy spirit and power, and he went through the land doing good and healing all those oppressed by the Devil, because God was with him." God raised this one up on the third day and allowed him to become manifest, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses appointed beforehand by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after his rising from the dead. 42 Also, he ordered us to preach to the people and to give a thorough witness that this is the one decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. " Who did Jesus say we should pray to, and worship ? Matthew 6: 9 You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified" John 4: 23,24 Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for indeed, the Father is looking for ones like these to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth." Do you own a Bible ?

@bambootigerArt @RevesJM "That would be the one Jehovah appointed". Nope. God doesn't delegate Judgment. Psalm 9:8 "He... judges the peoples with equity." Thank you for proving Jesus is God. John 5:22 "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son"

@RevesJM O but Jesus does know everything cf John 16:30 "Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.” Mark 13:32 refers to aido ie revealing knowledge not gnosis actual knowledge.

Right off the bat is the glaringly obvious “all knowing” line that fails to include Matthew 24:36 or Mark 13:32 or Acts 1:7. Jesus isn’t God or even one person in the Godhead as he doesn’t know all things! Get a new graph. This one isn’t good.
