@Fat_Electrician the reason why Europe doesn't have or need Social Security programs is that they chose to embrace more "Socialist" programs like various universal safety nets in their gov't. I don't see how we can not have either without a rise in poverty and the disabled getting the shit end.

If you let the same guy rob you at gunpoint every day for 50 years because he promised he was “just keeping it safe” and would give it all back later. Then one day you see him robbing your adult kids at gunpoint. Do you: A: Realize this is insane. B: Yell at your kids to stop complaining and just give him the money so he can pay you back. @Fat_Electrician No one is opposing them from a functional standpoint. They're a drain on the local utilities, and instead of solving the utilities problem(s), there seems to be an expectation for the locals to just deal with added costs from the providers, brown-outs and low water-pressure.

I’ve looked into this very minimally, so I’m genuinely asking. Why are people opposing data centers so hard? My gut feeling is it’s hippies opposing nuclear power 2.0, but I’m willing to be convinced otherwise.

Glitch is not a giant animation studio with hundreds of artists and various contractors working 40+ hours on various projects. Sure maybe they have way more than most indie outfits but they're not AAA.

@Oni_Maku @CasualChaz1982 @ShitpostRock2 Honestly, each of these is just life story games. Life story games are a type of game that you either enjoy because you sit down and enjoy the story told, or you dislike it. It's like Liver & Onions or Black Licorice. It's not a genre for everyone.

they're all woke agenda trash collections of videos that occasionally pause and ask you to press a button (in Dustborn's defense it also has a really shitty rhythm minigame). If you bring up every longplay of each respective game, you'll notice that the footages is always identical, so I don't know how playing these "games" is going to change any opinions.
