My experience on Arc Raiders over the last week has been hell. Just to be clear, I love this game and think it’s already moved in to my personal top 10 all time.
But the egregious amount of cheating genuinely might be worse than peak Call of Duty. I’m not trying to bring negativity to the game because I know this type of dialogue can spread on socials like a disease but I genuinely cannot get through an entire raid without a steam profile that is level 0 or an account that has multiple game bans and VAC bans on record.
I promise I’m not trying to be self righteous by telling Embark what to do next, but I think the only option they have to protect the success of this game is similar to how Epic handled Fortnite in the past — legitimate legal action against providers and individuals who are actively supplying and using cheating software. I know it’s just a game and a lot of players may not even encounter experiences like this because of the PvE and aggression based MMR but holy cow gentlemen, I’m at war and I’m getting absolutely pummeled for 8 hours straight every day. Hours and hours of looting, crafting and investment of time and resources wiped out raid after raid, over and over again.
If you made it this far and read everything, I appreciate you. I apologize for sounding like a whiny, privileged streamer but I just needed to vent somewhere else other than the stream. One day I’ll come to terms with the fact that cheating in video games has reached the point in time where it is impossible for the devs to keep up with the providers but until then, I’m just going to keep complaining.

@_julianschiavo Makes sense! I just add the web Chat GPT to my dock so it functions like an app. I then use @raycast to hotkey that docked webpage to make it feel snappy. Gives me that back/forth!
The quick entry is cool. It just got buggy for me.

@peduarte It’s a skill in itself! If you’re reading a full transcript it takes practice to “see” it without looking like you’re reading. Some people do quick one-liners/bullet points to get the next thought started which can help maintain your nice conversational approach!

For @raycast wish list, let us use it as voice dictation in any open app
I want to speak into it or any open app (similar to snippets).
Using Mac dictation as alternative, but it's annoying having to press the keys to start it. Don't want another subscription for whisper, etc

Just tried da vinci resolve for vid editing, and I can’t believe how smooth it was with 0 crashes + fast rendering.
Would recommend anyone new to editing that doesn’t want to spend any money on a program to check it out.
Also I’m able to edit more vids on the go now, so expect more uploads on more tag :D

We’re thrilled to announce that Wispr Flow raised another $25M round after 10x'ing our revenue in just 5 months.
Our Series A2 was led by @hanstung at @notablecap (who was an early investor in five companies that made it to $100B valuation like Slack, Tiktok, and Airbnb). we also brought on @StevenBartlett as an investor and partner.
But here's what matters more than the money:
We cracked voice input. Not transcription - actual understanding. Our users hit "send" in under 0.5 seconds without checking. They trust it blindly. That's never existed before.
In a recent benchmark, Wispr came out as 3-4x more accurate than OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Siri.
Voice input was step one. Now, we’re building the assistant that actually gets things done.
The keyboard had a good 150-year run.
Time to build what comes next.
