@Paladin000Xbox The director (who also co-wrote the film) goes into great detail in my interview with him in “Haddonfield” about why he stands by the decision. I also interviewed Ellie Cornell (Rachel) and got her take

@AndrewGrevas Funny thing is I heard the audience wasn't really into her Which wasn't really her fault because they admitted later to making a mistake for killing off Rachel too early

Danielle spoke at length to me in our interview for “Horror in Haddonfield” about how much Kaplan meant to her on set. Dominique also shared some great stories about Danielle playing near Greg Nicotero while he worked. Two of the best interviews in the book, in my opinion.

Who would be the worst choice to play Freddy Krueger in the next movie? Give me those hilariously bad takes.

@IsabellaEm1 I love Tina. She’s fun, sexy, totally time period appropriate, protective & fierce & the kind of girl most people would be drawn to for at least one of those reasons. I just wish Rachel would have had a more fitting demise. She deserved better.

@AndrewGrevas As much as I hate that we didn't get Rachel in part 5 in any sort of a proper way, Tina has really grown on me over the years.

@IsabellaEm1 I think we will. Makes the most sense if they’re trying to establish the character/ series to an audience that hasn’t grown up with Elm Street the way we did.

@AndrewGrevas Creatively I love it. But if I was in charge I would never allow it because I think it would be too hard to brand a villain that has multiple faces/actors associated with it. I just hope we get evil/scary Freddy instead of wisecracking prankster Freddy.

@IsabellaEm1 Personally, I would dig that. I don’t think a studio would, but me as a fan thinks it’s an interesting idea.

@AndrewGrevas As much as the franchise needs one actor as the face of Freddy if their hope is to launch a new series of movies from this remake, I sort of like the idea of multiple actors playing the part, allowing Freddy to appear as different personalities to different victims.
