(Reuters) - Iran no longer has the capacity to enrich uranium or make ballistic missiles after 20 days of U.S.-Israeli air attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a news conference on Thursday. "We are winning, and Iran is being decimated," Netanyahu said, noting that Iran's missile and drone arsenal is being massively degraded and will be destroyed. "What we're destroying now are the factories that produce the components to make these missiles and to make the nuclear weapons that they're trying to produce," Netanyahu said. Netanyahu did not provide evidence for his claim that Iran no longer had the capacity to enrich uranium.

Notable ahead of Japanese PM meeting with POTUS – Japan joins UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Netherlands in joint statement expressing “readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts” to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz (see more below) - It comes as Fox News can confirm via a European diplomat that the UK is involved in an effort to build support to reopen Strait and provide freedom of navigation to enable shipping. The UK reached out to Rubio, and PM Starmer spoke with POTUS on Sunday – letting the US know UK is taking the lead on building support among Europeans to partner with GCC to answer the question of ‘diplomatically, who could sign up for this?’. I’m told Italians were supportive, and France has engaged with EU. “Once you have the political commitment, you determine who has command and control, who has ships, etc,” this source said. On Sunday, UK + GCC put out this statement: gcc-sg.org/en/MediaCenter… I’m told there has been a lot of back and forth on when it would be appropriate to start these efforts, given military analysis that if this goes into place during a hot war, you inject high value military targets into the conflict. At the moment, there no consensus about when to begin. UK sent a delegation to CENTCOM (in addition to their regular footprint) to go over these options– they are meeting again today. A White House source tells me the US sees UK talks w/ Europe + GCC as an effort to demonstrate commitment after POTUS was critical of UK PM Kier Starmer – but military to military, they continue to coordinate. “The Gulf countries are much more eager to help,” this WH official said.

NEW: UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, & Japan issue joint statement expressing “readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts” to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, welcoming nations engaging in prep/planning & coordinating SPR releases and ways to increase output. Calls for Iran to “cease immediately its threats, laying of mines, drone and missile attacks and other attempts to block the Strait to commercial shipping, and to comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817” Read here: gov.uk/government/new…

Hours ago, U.S. forces successfully employed multiple 5,000-pound deep penetrator munitions on hardened Iranian missile sites along Iran’s coastline near the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian anti-ship cruise missiles in these sites posed a risk to international shipping in the strait.

Most of the U.S. media, as exemplified here by ABC News, has a rooting interest in the war with Iran, and it’s not on the side of their own country. This isn’t even neutral reporting. They actively pull for Iran like it’s a plucky, lovable underdog.

Even as Iran has been "pummeled" by Israeli and American air strikes, with its military capabilities greatly diminished, Tehran continues to demonstrate resolve, both in adapting and expanding its military tactics, observers told ABC News. abcnews.link/at81GGu

🚨New: Fairfax County parents tell me their girls were groped in between their legs front to back during school by an adult male student who happens to be an illegal immigrant and that this has been happening the entire school year. Parents are livid at Fairfax County Public Schools. Today, Steve Descano’s prosecutor Jenna Sands agreed to release the suspect from jail. The judge said no. ICE lodged a detainer. ICE says Fairfax County Sheriff Stacey Kincaid isn’t honoring their detainer. DETAILS:

WILD: The predicted “future” came within 24 hours. This is Israeli Air Force footage of drones and jets blowing up Basij checkpoints all around Tehran today, based on tips called in by Iranian citizens. A revolution with air support against a regime with no air defence.
Saul Sadka@Saul_Sadka

Future protesters against the IRGC will be able to call in airstrikes against the basij, which is a gamechanger, to put it mildly. IRGC is cooked sooner or later.

TMZ followed by several different other "news" sites (I use that term lightly) published a story with this all caps headline "PETE HEGSETH BLEW BILLION$ ON FRUIT BASKETS, LOBSTER" accompanied by a photo with him, surrounded by a bunch of plastic lobsters. If you've never covered the military, or served, or if you don't have any family or friends in the military this would seem like a shocking story. But it's not--not even remotely. It is a common practice for our country to provide these special meals to our service men and women at least once a week--Has been for decades. I did my due diligence to prove my point to anyone who doubts my accuracy -- in 2009 when Robert Gates was the secretary defense during the Obama administration I present you with a story from a reporter who was embedded with the soldiers in Afghanistan. "The lobsters and crab legs are shipped from the United States and driven down on a refrigerated truck from Bagram. On seafood night, the crew serves up 400 of the tasty tails, 130 pounds of Alaskan King crab legs, and 135 pounds each of shrimp and scallops." Here is the link: dvidshub.net/news/519652/re… And here is a story from 2024 when Lloyd Austin was the secretary of defense and Joe Biden was the president of the United States. "The military spent $103.7 million on meat, fish and poultry, including $16.6 million on ribeye steak and 147 orders of lobster tail for $6.1 million. Orders of blueberries, ice cream and doughnuts also exceeded $100,000." realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2025/… I am once again disappointed with the lack of balance and context in my profession. Deeply embarrassed and disappointed in members of Congress, who were tweeting this out. Why? Well because how is it that they don't know this? You may or may not like who is the current president of the United States, but your obsession should not make something that is both a norm but also a show of gratefulness for our soldiers, an outrage to satisfy your unhappiness.
