This really sucks that microsoft is dropping linux support. I can't figure out to click a teams link in firefox and have the PWA launch.

@sueanna That is a great way of filtering out those customers that are tempted by flashy html renderers. IE is gods browser. ActiveX is my shepherd.

(He didn't know that nor did his customers, and I don't think he would have cared if he knew.) And it had been live for a few years. I'm going to inhale a CBD gummy now.

Something I've learned in near 30 years of being in Tech. Not everyone knows what they're talking about. You don't have to take advice if you think it's bad advice. Collect nice people like Pokémon. Discard the mean people.

I’m so deeply on vacation that I haven’t touched a computer in a week. Thinking what retirement will be like. Folks will ask me questions about Windows and I’ll be like “I’m not a computer person.”

My partner is learning programming. When she struggles to figure something out, but I can solve it in a few seconds, I remind her: she can sit at the piano and easily sight-read a piece she’s never seen, while I have to struggle through note by note. Skills require practice.

@LuxairAirlines @sante_lu I got off flight LG8014 today from Paris and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 with a Rapid PCR. Interestingly I did a PCR yesterday in Paris which was Neg. Very mild sore throat and headache. I am quarantining.

Scored a kilo of @CathedralCity in Luxembourg. Hopefully this will get me through Christmas with the inlaws.
