I’m SO excited to be partnering with The Religion Department next month with a guest lecture on a Supreme Court case that I think is just as relevant today as it was 50 years ago! Come hang out with me on December 3! Register: religiondepartment.com/offers/8NZYiaN… @andrewmarkhenry

Located in the ruins of ancient Egypt, this massive granite block bears evidence of advanced stone-cutting techniques, possibly dating back 4,000 years. The precision of the drilled groove, as shown by modern measurement tools, has puzzled archaeologists for decades. Was it the result of copper tools, sand abrasion, or a lost technology? The question lingers. Standing before the unfinished stone evokes awe at the engineering ambition of a civilization that shaped monuments enduring millennia. It is both a relic of labor and a riddle carved in stone. Join me on the next 4bidden Tour Of Egypt LINK IN COMMENTS.

And we got buttons! Quite a lot of them. Beautifully carved e.g. from greenstone and other stones. They might have been used to close garments or attach something to them.
