@StevePa46290725 Indeed. I took the whole family to have a look. Jusy a minutes walk grom my house. Also had a Peregrine on St Andrews at the beginning of November. Could do more for the summer Swifts though.

@AndrewPlatt4 Amazing the wildlife you can find in a busy town centre, it was pretty much exactly a year ago we were watching Waxwings in Farnham.

Am I right in thinking there is a bryophilous fungi that infects the gametophytes of Marchantia polymorpha? Or am I imagining it? @ilichenmoss I can't find anything online.

@AndrewPlatt4 @ilichenmoss There is indeed Andrew, one with a wonderfully long latin name - Didymosphaeria marchantiae! I found some on an old female receptacle of Marchantia polymorpha quite by chance back in March of this year.

@AlexSFairley I crept a bit further north into Hampshire. Near a very posh hotel near the Basingstoke canal.

Ooh yes! Pink Ballerina, Porpolomopsis calyptriformis. Very happy to have found these locally. #fungi
