New Liaison poll with the Ontario PC at 47% I know we aren't supposed to blame the voters but I'm sorry, whenever I see a poll with Ford almost at 50%, I have to criticize the voters The fact a buffon like Ford is so high despite being so incompetent on every topic (including the econ ones for Coyne) is an indictment on Ontarians. Do not even try to give me the "well he's still better than the opposition". You. Do. No. Know. That. Ford's record is abysmal on every front (public finances, the economy, housing, education etc). If you still aren't willing to at least try the alternatives, you deserve all the pain. If you are okay with terrible results simply because the guy seems like a nice guy and never says anything about social issues, you are deeply unserious and, again, you deserve all the pain Ontarians are a curse on this country

@CDNprojections It sounds like on the surface the Yukon Liberals are gonna get decimated. They couldn’t field a full slate, all of their cabinet ministers are not running again, and only 1 incumbent is running for re-election.

And this is the only riding I have them winning in the model as of a couple weeks ago

@RealAlbanianPat Calling early elections in Canada is a big risk in that it has backfired a lot.

@RealAlbanianPat I dunno, I wouldn’t. last election folks thought Eby would win a majority comfortably, instead it was on a knife edge as “traditional” NDP leaning areas suddenly voted Tory. While the mood is different from 2024, Tory leaning voters tend to be committed.
