Grants will support community groups with up to $75,000 for projects that restore and strengthen key koala habitats. The community-led projects will fill gaps in existing large‑scale restoration work, strengthening efforts to protect habitat across South East Queensland.

The Crisafulli Governments fully-funded plan will also support repairs and maintenance of existing filtration devices. We promised it before the election and we’re delivering it as part of the fresh start our environment needs.

Litter belongs in the bin, not the bay. That’s why our plan for Zero Litter To The Bay by 2030 is underway. Councils can now apply for funding to install stormwater filtration devices that will stop around 6,000 wheelie bins of rubbish getting into Moreton Bay every year.
