@UrATXRealtor_ The athleticism in the league is so stupid that you can make a sound argument even with what we’re seeing from summer league Wilson

@AndrewTalksHoop I think 95% would be realistic. I am not seeing historical athlete here. Just elite athlete but not something that’s not already in the league. There are players that are role players who are fast with 45 inch verticals

Wouldn't that put him between 4-5 in the entire nba? It's crazy Wilson is such a great athlete, it isn't ridiculous to claim he's in the 1%. ...give me Amen, Asaur, Shaedon, Ant, Miles Bridges, AJ Johnson and slight edge to his draft class partner AJ Dybantsa. I’m sure I forgot someone, but when the list is this short, the claim speaks for itself.

Caleb Wilson is already a 99th percentile NBA athlete already

@Extralarge68900 I respect that and with leaping you’re right, but AJ has better feet, which I’d include in the quickness category of athleticism. Caleb’s feet look heavy at times defensively.

@fantasyfffan1 I am fully invested at this point. He just has an "it" about him when his motor is on 10 like we saw in the Duke game. That leads me to believe a playoff version of him will be better than a reg season version, which is exactly what an org and fans wanna see.

No hate, just my take, but this is the best possible angle for this to look clean. This isn't a indicator of definitive poor shooting, but the guide hand is a mess. Basically covers the ball and then opens up like he's blowing a kiss to the hoop. No doubt he will be a problem and please don't fix this to a fault - just small adjustments at a time, over years of reps.

I always said that Caleb Wilson's form was clean as hell. I had zero worries that he would start knocking these down. Also, I think it's worthy to note that longer three-point range might actually be an easier shot for guys of Caleb Wilson's size.

@fantasyfffan1 and yes if you're wondering "I appreciation" other players too. I really just dismiss proofreading like I am on a carpet square

I appreciation that you are aware of my love for DP, but this is just an objective thing about the guide hand. Caleb Wilson played really well and I am becoming a fan quickly. I put out a vid of why he’s not top 3 like a lot of people had him, but that wasn’t because going 4 in this draft with crazy upside is some terrible thing.

couldn’t be more excited to see JB on this staff. Getting to work alongside the current king of in-game and in-series adjustments w Mark Daigneault, is the perfect next step. It is the biggest missing piece in his current coaching imo... then add in the spacing, ball movement, and big man development that Mark Few has built his reputation on. It’s a combination of coaching strengths he can learn from, while also letting them glean from what he knows best, which, for me, is ego controlling, team buy in and inducing effort night in and night out over a long season.

@MainMoose_HB Oh yeah. My “fav” duo is definitely subjective with nostalgia mixed in. Those were some insanely talented bigs you just listed. Pleasure to watch all their careers

@AndrewTalksHoop nostalgia bias is real, but having pau / KG & Duncan simultaneously in prime… we were blessed
