While Cavs fans are down on Atkinson, to me, he is becoming under-appreciated. He proved he can find the right adjustments over a series in game 7 against the Pistons. That said, his in game adjustments have been poor. At MSG Hart was hot and the shots weren’t touching the rim. Scrap the soft double on Brunson and sag off him but close enough to contest - a tweak that could have kept the Cavs in striking distance. Could always blitz the double late and give up a bridges, OG or Hart three and keep Mobley and Allen low cause these are guard to guard with Harden’s man. I think we see this tonight. Can’t let Brunson basically close them out the first game of the series in CLE. …and I made a video on this, but they gotta give the bigs some love so the Knicks defense has to respect the lob and open up deeper drives that are less crowded which will in turn open up good looks for knock down guys like Merrill and Strus. The formula is there - it’s just about execution. Can always go to the iso game late with Mitchell and Harden.

I’m weird on Keynote. I feel like he is thriving with limited options over there. I’m curious how he would co-exist with a one seed and significantly lower volume. I have to watch more Rollins because the bucks might have been the least interesting team in the league to me last season. And I know nothing. Just a fan of Reed and know what he brings to the table along with obsessed with the gaps in the pistons roster they need to fill to get atop the east

Ime can't stand Reed in Houston. I know he's on a Rookie deal, but the he would fit with the Pistons. All those steals and gambling is backed up by Thompson and either Duren or Stew. Lethal shooter and he can get pressured at times, but Cade can pick it up when he struggles. Idk how this could come together but the young core lines up and maybe a 1st rounder and 2nd rounder the following year would make sense. Either that or try to get some ballhandling this year in the draft, but Reed has proved he can cause turnovers and shoot well in this league and that is hard to call with a draft pick. Also, I think there's a high chance the Rockets blow this up within 2 seasons. The window just isn't coming together like they thought it would.

In the matchup of the season at Madison Square Garden, with five likely first-round picks on the floor, a few young guys with an iPad swung the momentum of a half. These guys do not get NEARLY enough credit with important that role is.

I will say - he is 36 and when he threw those the defender was behind him with the quicker feet, now that defender is on his side and not fully in jail.

also, yes I am and have been a fan of Reed. Some people fall into the perfect situation like Dylan Harper for example, and other like Reed fall into a terrible situation like expecting to develop under VanVleet, they trade for KD and VanVleet gets hurt and the timeline completely changes. Not to mention his coach saying maybe he was "scared of the moment" to shift blame to him when one of the greatest players of all time stole the ball from him in the open court to send it to OT in an eventual loss. Reed followed this up by ripping LeBron and dunking on the other end to cement the win the following game.

@Thetalalkhader @BARRtimeanytime lower body injuries for a player relying on burst to get theirs is an awful, career ending thing. We have watched this unfold time and time again. It's just a what-if scenario at this point

I hated this pick since the day it happened and I don't like hating on a young man like that. He just hasn't shown me anything outside of a high motor and some above average on ball defense. Low IQ, poor timing with offensive aggression, doesn't shoot well and seems to be lost out there at times.
