This seemed to wind a lot of people up last week. I stand by it. There was a banner in the Matthew Harding stand displayed before kick-off last night that displayed all of Chelsea’s trophies. And slap bang in the middle of it - much bigger than all the others - was the Club World Cup. It was good at the time but nobody outside Chelsea rates it. Forget about it, move on and concentrate on winning a trophy that will really send a statement.

@CFCDaily Spot on. And every Chelsea fan has seen this before with Lampard and Tuchel. Everyone said that team had no discipline, was too young and immature, had no leaders, cobham was leaking like a sieve, Rudiger was about to leave. Then it all changed with Tuchel. Rosenior has to go.

I do think Rosenior needs to go. He’s definitely not the main point in fault but you can see early when a manager/coach looks out of depth and unfortunately this is an obvious case of one. Not a chance the dressing room has respect for him, says a lot when Gusto called out the tactics after the first leg. Sanchez will have support in the dressing room too after being dropped and Enzo speaking about his future after the game. There’s nobody holding that dressing room together.

It’s a repeat of the Lampard mess before Tuchel arrived. No discipline on or off the pitch, big players talking about leaving if the manager stays (Rudiger was about to join Spurs), shambolic coaching, morale on the floor. Coaching and authority matters. Rosenior has to go.

Come on. Everyone has to stop being so naive. Enzo doesn’t think he’s leaving. He has 6 years left on his deal, wants a pay rise and clearly wants Rosenior to go. He knows only PSG can afford him and they already have 7 midfielders. He’s making a play to force change.

@Garysonfire He’s not leaving. He wants Rosenior out and a new deal like Reece is my guess. Only PSG could afford him and they have 7 midfielders on the books already. I admire him in a way trying to force the club’s hand. Feels like the old days when a big player makes a power play.
