In soccer, you can get kicked out of a game and then suspended for the next game for accidentally stepping on someone's foot.
In American Football, you pretty much have to get in a legit fight, bump a ref, get multiple unsportsmanlike penalties, etc to get kicked out of a game, AND you still get to play the next game in all likelihood, unless it was really flagrant.
This is why there is such a gulf between how most Americans view this silly red card nonsense, and apparently the rest of the world.
Combine that with all the diving and drama queen reactions we see in soccer, it's no wonder it just doesn't catch on in the U.S.
The U.S. mostly looks confused and disjointed while Belgium is playing like Spain. Not great! Let's hope some adjustments get made during the half because this ain't going well.
@AndyHermanNFL You came out of the absolutely worst group. You came out first. That's it but, it turns out you're not very good at it with any kind of opposition.
Not surprising..
The fact that the Orang utan got involved is even funnier.
I understand Belgium is better but this looks nothing like the U.S. team over the first 4 games. Urgency is off. First touch is poor. Shape isn’t consistent. It’s good from Belgium but it’s poor from the U.S.
@ofootball__ Yes, I am unfortunately if we win folks will be like oh no Trump rigged it~ he did not it was already under investigation but folks lose their mind no matter what so bring it on 😜😜
