Just a quick update… my last surgery went well. It took a little over 6 hours. I have been recovering from the surgery but pain has been hard to manage. Making slow progress but I hope I can be out of the hospital soon. Thank you all for the support. 🙏🏻❤️

The government will give an update today on the future of X. Over the past few days, I’ve wrestled with whether I even want this platform to survive. X has given me a voice. It’s helped me find brilliant friends, speak out when I otherwise wouldn’t have and raise money for causes I care deeply about. It has, at times, made me braver. But it has also taken a really heavy toll which I’m not sure I’ve ever discussed with my followers. I’ve been left in tears by trolls. Feeling sick to my stomach. Unable to eat or sleep. I’ve had to chase down threats of rape and sexual harassment. I had one man pretend to be married to me for over a year. Another ‘parody account’ posting images of where my family lives. Individuals reporting me to my employer. Most recently, I’ve been the victim of sexual predation online. This isn’t even the half of it. X was once a genuinely valuable public square - a place for ideas, debate and connection. In its current form it is something else entirely. A platform that amplifies voices but repeatedly harms those who use it is not a public good. And unless it is radically changed, it’s hard to see how it can be defended at all

NEW: Man in critical condition after he got shot while confronting an off-duty officer during a road rage incident in Orange County, New York. According to authorities, the man, Wallace F. Fisher got out of his car and pulled out a knife. That is when off-duty Kingston Police Officer Anthony Simon pulled out his gun and shot Fisher. Fisher was then taken to the hospital where he is reportedly listed in critical but stable condition.

As requested, here's my Omega Seamaster Ultra Deep Professional (11,000 meters rated) - I visited it at my bank. Omega only made 3 and I got to keep 1. It has been to the bottom of the ocean 11 times (the others only once). I compare it in the photos to a 6000m rated Ultra Deep.

@YardleyShooting As I’ve said before Mike, set up a parallel account without ‘shooting’ in the handle. Any kind of shooting / hunting (or key words to that effect) gets throttled back to some extent on social media.

This account is still being profoundly restricted. The blue tick was a complete waste of money. The account seems to have trespassed across some unstated boundary. It's seen by a tiny % of other accounts compared to previously. Why though?
